Kinship Hub: A Collective Works Program The Kinship Hub strengthens human-animal-place bonds through culturally grounded, community-driven practices. As a Rooted Futures initiative, it uplifts wisdom, resources, and relationships that support the holistic well-being of all our kin.

Community Metrics for Black Well-Being
We measure what matters: care, culture, interdependence, and movement—across both human and animal experiences.
Human-Centered Metrics:
- Culturally affirming mental health services
- Black-led mutual aid, wellness, and cultural spaces
- Intergenerational knowledge transfer and mentorship
- Black entrepreneurship and policy wins rooted in liberation
Animal-Centered Metrics:
- Access to veterinary and wellness services in Black communities
- Visibility of animals in Black traditions and healing practices
